Home page, navigation redesign, Stripe checkout, Organic SEO
Learning for Good came to me to redesign their website to improve their visibility online, attract new clients and collect donations online.
The recommendations I made were:
At the request of the client, Donate button was added to the website navigation bar in a prominent position, and at my recommendation, this was linked to Strip Checkout for a simple, fast, secure and cost effective method to start collecting donations immediately.
The home page wording was re-written to make wording more succinct, with industry-specific terminology removed and replaced with easier to understand explanations. The layout was redesigned into two halves to clearly define the two main groups of customers, with a call to action tailored to each unique group, referring to the next step they may want to take - "Get Resources" or "Get Involved"
Use of Terminology and abbreviations that would be unfamiliar to potential new clients were replaced with wording that clearly described the services and included keywords that potential clients might search for.
Case studies were added - to clearly demonstrate examples of how Learning for Good can help, including keyword-rich descriptions of Learning for Good's services,
The Navigation structure was redesigned to match what visitors to the website might be looking for, ncluding "What we do" and drop-down menus for each group of potential clients.
